TWENTY FIFTH PREFINAL YEAR UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME FOR MEN PERMANENT COMMISSION (JULY 2016)
The Indian Army is looking for Indian Unmarried Energetic persons who are in the III year (pre-final) of Engineering session 2014-15 for Grant of Permanent Commission under UES.
Applications are invited from unmarried male engineering degree students studying in pre final year (III year) in academic session 2014-15 for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army
The online registration link will be active in Indian Army website from 25th August 2014 to 25th
September 2014.

2) In case the engineering stream of the candidate is not listed above and candidates desire to claim
equivalence, they may produce equivalence certificate of the concerned universities for the purpose
CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY:
(a) Nationality: A candidate must either be (i) a citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) Tibetan origin but of Indian domicile, whose parents entered India as refugees prior to 1st January 1962 with intent ion of Permanently sett ling in India. (v) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambi, Malawai, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of Permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will however not be necessary in the case of candidate who are Gorkhas subject of Nepal.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates studying in the Pre-Final of the Engineering Course in recognized Universities/Institution/Colleges in the subject mention in para 3 below will be eligible to apply but must possess the education qualification at the time of joining training or should be able to produce the proof of having obtained the educational qualification within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Army .The candidates who are unable to produce the Degree/Provisional Degree certificate at the time of joining the training will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training in case they fail to produce the requisite Degree/ Provisional Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training.
Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 24 years at the time of
commencement of course. (Candidate born between 02nd Jul 91 and 1st Jul 97 both dates inclusives) .
Pay & Allowances: The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 21,000/- p.m. (Rs 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs 5400/-)
On completion of training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank .Army also provides free Medical Facilities for self & dependents, Canteen facilities, Entitled Ration, Mess/Club/Sports Facilities, Furnished Govt. Selection Procedure: The selection procedure is as follows
a) Screening test well be held in respective Command HQ. Preliminary selection of prospective candidates studying in the Pre-Final Year (Engineering) will be made by selection team detailed by Command HQ for holding preliminary interviews at University/ Collage Candidates are required to report are screening test at respective Command HQ along with attested copy of Educational certificate listed in para 7 above and other certificate relating to sports and achievement in
extracurricular activities like NCC, Social Work, Debates, Adventure Activity etc
b) Short listing of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications recommended by Comd HQ in the preliminary screening interviews at University/Colleges
c) Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be interviewed at Selection Centres, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP) and Bangalore (Karnataka) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer
d) Interviews will be held in Nov/Dec 2014 onwards
e) Candidates will put through two stage selection procedure

Before submitting the application check the entries made and save the application. After submitting, take two copies of the printout and the Roll Number generated by the system.
Documents are to be carried to the Selection Centre by the candidate
i) One copy of the Print out of application duly signed and affix photograph attested by Govt Gazetted
Officer
ii) Attested copy of Matriculation or equivalent certificate for age proof
iii) Attested copy of 12th Class Certificate & Marksheet
iv) Attested copy of Engineering Degree/Provisional Degree
(v) Attested copy of Mark sheets of all Semesters
(vi) Certificate from the Principal/Head of the Institution stating that the candidate is in final year and final exams will be over by 01 Jul 2016 for final year appearing candidates
vii) Equivalence certificate of the concerned university to claim equivalence
viii) All certificates in original. Originals will be returned after verification at the Service Selection Board itself.
Any candidate who does not carry these entire documents for the SSB interview, his candidature will be cancelled.
The second copy of the printout of online application is to be retained by the candidate for his reference
No need to send any hard copy to DG Recruiting
Candidates must submit only one application. Receipt of multiple applications from the same candidate will result in cancellation of candidature
